Engine stop function please

I would like an engine stop functionality added. iirc there's an open space on the B menu that would be pefect for it. Being able to zero throttle instantly is immensely helpful, particularly when reversing thrusters in combat.

But there is a engine stop function (throttle zero) and I've used it. Make sure you look closely at the key config menu that has key mappings for throttle %. I have it mapped to my Voice Attack when I say "stop".

EDIT: DOH!! LOL sorry I didn't even see this was xbox as I view the forums by "new posts".. Guess I need to pay more attention now that ED is multi platform...

There may be a button configuration to set to Zero throttle. I'm a PC user with a joystick so I can't be of much help there. Check the control layout in your options.

Unfortunately there is no binding option for "zero throttle" in Controls (as there is in the PC version).

I played on PC too. There is no such function on Xbox.

Out of curiosity, is there a docking computer in advanced phases of the game?

There are docking computers and you don't even need to get far to get them, they are in the livery section when outfitting If I am correct ive seen a few but I like the whole manual docking so haven't got one

There is a docking computer that you can get in most High-tech economies. I think it costs around one thousand credits.

You should be able to pick up a docking computer right away. May have to find a station close by that sells them.. should be a level 1 module slot, think its 4500 creds. Someone mentioned livery, livery is just decorative items..wil be in ur internals.
