Engineer Invites, but not showing on the Galaxy Map?

Recently entered the galaxy, so still learning.

Anyone else on PS4 get engineer invites but they don't show up on your map or in your bookmarks? Is that intended?

Watching another player here now and he just got two new engineer invites 20-30 minutes ago in his inbox, but they aren't on the map or in the bookmarks.

Do they only show up after you've fulfilled the second task on their list or should they show up right away like Felicity did?

Hmm. They did for me, but it's been a while.
You can check your right panel, engineers, and access the Galmap for their location.

Also mark sure Engineers are on in the galmap markers. Very last tab on the galmap.
