Engineers Engineer Rep degrading over time?

Has anyone else noticed their rep with engineers degrade? In particular engineers that only offer module modifications that you can't buy favours from.
My rep with Prof. Palin and (G5 dirty drives) and Elvira Martuuk (G5 Frameshift) degrade from Lvl 5 to Lvl 3. Is this supposed to happen? i.e. rep degrades if you don't visit the engineer regularly, like Super power faction rep degrades if you don't perform actions for the super power?

If true across the board, this would be huuge [knocked out] It isn't supposed to happen.

Best advice is, gather as much information as you can and file a bug report. If QA come back with "working as intended" the forums will ignite.

None of my rep has gone down with any of the enginners including Palin and Martuuk.

Sounds like a bug to me as well. I haven't lost any rep with any engineers unless I bought favors from them.

In addition to a bug report, I'd suggest opening a ticket so FD can get your rep sorted out. A bug report might get QA to look at it, but it won't fix your issue.

This is a bit weird, but I updated my Engineer rep on my Inara profile on 17 July, unfortunately not from a screenshot. But i set my rep with Palin and Elivra to Level 1. But i've got Grade 5 dirty drives and frameshift drive (the non-exploit way) so this isn't possible. Just logged into take screenshots for the bug report and everything seems to be fine...head scratch...am i going mad....
Sorry for the false alarm guys.

And oddly my Journal entry for 17 July has an "event":"EngineerProgress" for all Engineers. Other Journal files I've checked only have entries for the Engineers I visited. As i don't have a screenshot of my Engineering progress on 17th July, there is much to back-up my "bug".
