I wonder if anyone knows a way around this?
I have three multicannons. I was upgrading them to grade 5 overcharged. I had one special effect just by rolling - thermal.
I decided to get special effects on the others. However, there is no warning when you are about to add another mod with a new roll that you lose a special effect. I wasn't quite sure which of the MCs had the special effect (i.e. the 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the row). The order of them in the module panel on the right does not correspond to the order in the engineer screen. And since there is no other way of telling, I mistakenly re-modded the MC with the thermal effect!
The only way I can imagine to prevent this would be to identify the MCs with a special effect in the outfitting screen and temporarily store them... Any other ideas?
