So after a misstep of thinking I'd get an invitation to see Marco just because I was Allied with the Sirius Corporation, I learned I needed to go to the Sirius system to get a mission to meet him.

Okay. No problem. I go there, and the mission is to deliver a data packet to Mildeptu. Okay...

But the station is 115,000LS away

Okay... I've done long trips before.

And the station you need to dock at is an outpost (I'm flying a Clipper).

Okay... I'll just buy a smaller ship that still has enough room for my cargo. Cobra should do the trick.

And the station you go to has a Diamondback explorer as the smallest ship that can hold the cargo you also have (no Cobras). So you're going to lose 200k when you sell it for your expensive taxi trip.

Okay... money isn't much of a problem for me right now

And the outpost is under lock down so you can't hand in your mission when you get there.

Word is the mission is glitched, but since some people have clearly unlocked him, I was hoping I wasn't going to be one of them

Lockdown usually doesn't last more than a day or two and can be shortened by handing in bounty vouchers.

At least you got the trigger to go to the sirius system, as you know many have hit the bug where you take the mission to get the permit, but never get the invite to actually enter the sirius system. You can't even plot a route to sirius.
