Engineering mod to increase speed of acceleration and deceleration in Supercruise.

Alternatively, could add a faction-specific frame shift drive to Powerplay with this effect.

Optional: increase maximum Supercruise speed as well.

Questions for readers:

1) what would you consider to be a fair trade-off for this improvement? Increased heat? Mass? Longer cooldown?

2) besides trips to Hutton, do you think this mod would be useful in the course of an average day of gameplay?

3) If you answered “yes” to #2, would it be useful enough to make forgoing the increased range mod worthwhile?

I have a funny feeling that I already know the answer to #3...
 
For supercruise acceleration and deceleration
It would probably end up be calling the "Quantum Friction Compensator" mod to overcome the displacement of space by nearby astronomical bodies better
 
Sounds like a good idea maybe it could have the side effect of mitigating mass lock by larger ships. Or at least lessen the effect of disruptive mass when charging the fsd close to a more massive ship.
