Would it be possible to expand even more on weapon engineering towards specific damage types or defenses?
- Shield breaker: Increase damage vs shields but lower overall damage against hull/modules
- Hull smasher: Lower damage vs shields and modules but overall better damage against hull
- Module cracker: Lower damage vs shields/armour but if it pierce armour it will do more damage to modules
- Enveloping Negative Feedback: Lower overall damage but if it hits the hull ALL utility modules and weapons are hit (Laser weapons mainly was my thought there)
- Blast: A laser weapon's focus crystal is replaced with a prism to shape the laser in a cone shaped blast with reduced range but AOE cone damage (similar to Frag cannons).
