To the people in FD: your game is on an awesome track to become a game unsurpassed by most however; and these are hopefully constructive points, there need to be some essential tweaks ASAP:
The new AI ships are pretty much impossible to beat - I was just killed hurtling away at mach speed plenty and died without any enemy showing up on the radar! They have weapons that make the stock ships meaningless!
The concept of grinding out missions to accumulate the required needs of the Engineers is great however; when the above takes place - after many days of grinding, and against an accomplished player, then the game becomes UN-enjoyable big time!
IMHO there needs to be some aspect of the following:
Competitiveness against AI ships representative of current ship including outfitting and rank - NOT one AI ship can defeat all-comers.
There needs to be some immediate enhancement of the current ability to store long ground out Engineer required materials or again it becomes a BIG UN-enjoyable waste of time.
Irrespective of a players ability to locate material, pose a combat challenge to enemy ships, or grind ubiquitously the game MUST be enjoyable and sadly, the game currently is far less enjoyable than on the 25th May 3302.
I am very sure FD will sort this out ASAP - thanks for an awesome concept, tweaks needed immediately.
