Bam, engineers is out today. Anyone else watching the YouTube nation like a obsessed teenage girl awaiting 1direction news to see what's going on with the live version and how it will actually work. Or is it just me as the ed obsessed middle aged man child?

Sorry to be the barer of bad news CMDR but it's 1.6 that comes out today. With the updated mission boards and such. Engineers/horizons are out next week on Friday June the 3rd.

I stayed up all night watching twich when they released 2.0 Horizons on beta & full release, did the same for Engineers beta. So the chances are tonight is going to be sleepless testing 1.6 & watching 2.1 on laptop.
Unfortunately Microsoft go through certification which takes a couple of days. I suspect that why we have a delay on xbox. Where as on pc they can update it whenever. That's why they beta test things on pc. Doesn't cost to implement patch updates. But on xbox it does apparently. Can't wait myself. So many YouTube vids on horizone and engineers... been waiting for this game for a good age now lol
Alexlar every Thursday morning they go offline for maintainan for power play cycles to be updates and the background simulation (bgs) this is normal don't worry. But when 1.6 launches today I think the servers will go offline for a good few hours while they update things server side. Which is usually the case.
