Newcomer / Intro Engineers

hello. I have read some about engineers at internet. Im currently in Beta-1 Adams orbit.
Still there something that isnt quite clear.
Returning after years, I entred local workshop and noticed INCREASED FSD RANGE WAS SOMWHERE INTO LVL 1. continued modding it until lvl2 opened and continued modding until that showed a full yellow ring around Optimised mass mod.
Both lvl1 & 2 now has a full yellow circle around optimised mass info. Saying their mod has been completed.
I am not able to modify anymore (lvl 3) allthough I have the materials available.
Then I noticed an invitation from Fareer and thought I had to bring her the Meta Alloy, which I managed after few crashlandings at her INC.
Luckily feeling that now I could fly back to Adams orb and start level my fsd to lvl 3. (I didnt dare to pin a blueprint at Fareer Inc fearing loss of allredy pinned one at Adams Orbital.
Boooom, not possiblel :)
I have notised a message NO BLUEPRINTS AVAILABLE, PLEASE REMOVE HE FILTER TO VIEW UNLOCKABLE BLUEPRRINTS, but it doesnt say which one
Now switching to right panel and choosing ENGINEERS.
Martuuk shows up with approx 1/10th filled line thowards Grade 3 access.
So what am i missing here to advance?

You can pin one mod per engineer - so don't worry about that next time.

You can only increase your level of access with an engineer at their base - not in remote workshop.

So go to Farseer or Elvira, mod up as far as you can manage (have mats for) and remember to apply an experimental whilst there. (You can apply the experimental at any level, it stays applied even as you increase the mod level. Mass Manager is generally the preferred increased FSD mod experimental.)
