Summary - Reminder - CGs are now only available in LIVE versions (Odyssey & 4.0), unfortunately not Legacy.
System: Kappa Reticuli
Station: Schirra Dock (Orbis starport, large pads available, 1,017 Ls from main star, 70.71 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Earn rewards by delivering Advanced Catalysers, Copper, Gallium, Polymers and Synthetic Reagents to Schirra Dock in the Kappa Reticuli system.

Description
Two leading engineers have revealed designs to improve the stock anti-xeno weaponry available to pilots.
Liz Ryder and Zacariah Nemo have provided module modifications for many years, specialising in explosive and kinetic weapons respectively. Over the past year they have collaborated privately on the AX weapon designs introduced by Aegis in 3303, seeking to improve the efficiency of delivering a compound, hazardous to Thargoid vessels, which tips AX ammunition.
Ryder explained to The Imperial Herald:
Zack and I share a passion for weapon upgrades, and have often used this project as a way to unwind after a long week’s work. But when the Taranis signal arrived and the Thargoid forces started taking control of systems, we knew we had to reveal the designs to the public. We’re going to need help from independent pilots to finish off the prototypes and get a manufacturing base set up.
This campaign is for a fixed-mount enhanced AX Missile Rack, to be made available in both Medium and Large sizes. Liberals of Kappa Reticuli has agreed to process deliveries, with Liz Ryder vouching for the faction's commitment to the anti-xeno project despite concerns over their reputation.
The project will run for eight weeks. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately and the fixed-mount enhanced AX Missile Rack will be made available at all rescue megaships shortly afterwards.
To earn rewards you must sign up as an active participant before delivering Advanced Catalysers, Copper, Gallium, Polymers and Synthetic Reagents to Schirra Dock in the Kappa Reticuli system.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.

Well we don't know the stats yet, they could be not as good as Sirius AXMRs.

I don't have the stat sheet with me now, but Sirius AXMR comes with increased ammo & fire rate with reduced reload times.

Note, Enhanced.
Better than the ones you can currently buy.
I tried the new Enhanced Turreted AX MC (4km range) and they are great against scouts (I also got interdicted by an NPC and they do also work on human ships, but are not as effective - took out FDS ha)
 
Enhanced missiles will have higher shot speed and may be minor damage drop...

The stats for damage present the non-AX portion, so if more damage is shifted to AX the stats will appear to show a damage drop when the AX damage is actually higher:

e.g (numbes made up to protect the innocent):
Basic Launcher
Explosive damage: 30
AX Damage: 30
Sheet Damage: 30 (non-AX portion)

Enhanced Launcher
Explosive damage: 20
AX Damage: 40
Sheet Damage: 20 (non-AX portion)

In this case, the UI would report a 33% damage nerf when its actually a 33% damage buff.
 
The new AX missiles are out now, they display an additional 0.7 damage, which I believe is all AX damage, so they do a bonus 7 damage. Combined with the global buff of 8 damage at patch 14, that puts their new damage at 51. Cut that in half for the fire rate, and then multiply by 0.6 for the hardness of a Cyclops, and you're looking at 15.3 DPS from these new missiles, just 2.4 DPS lower than Gauss Cannons, but without the heat or distro draw. A very decent way to exert a cyclops.

Enhanced has higher shot speed but lower ROF, longer reload, and smaller clip/ammo (plus a few smaller differences). Easier to hit with but lower synthetic DPS and drastically lower total damage potential (2304 vs 4377).
