Enhanced Tracking worth it for stealthy sniper build?

Does the Enhanced Tracking mod for suits in Odyssey do anything other than double your scan range? Can you use the profile cloning tool from further away, do you still have to get eyes on every guard for them to appear on radar, does radar show the direction they’re facing even when standing still? Trying to get a sense of whether it’s worth a mod slot in my “ninja” Maverick build, already has night vision and quieter footsteps. Planning to get increased sprint duration. Fourth slot is negotiable at this point.

Modded together an Executioner with scope, longer range, and audio masking. Works better than I expected (just wish the projectile was faster). Planning to pair them together. Backup piece is a tormentor with faster handling and noise suppression, grinding to get audio masking on it too. Not sure what to put in the fourth slot, need a lot more ionizing gas to get there.

As far as I've read on here it only increases the scan range and provides no extra functionality beyond that. If it suits your playing style, I'd prioritise Improved Jump Assist over Increased Sprint Duration.

I have a suit I found with it already installed and It does also reduce the scan time to almost instantaneous. It's actually pretty great for recon but not necessary.

If I had a choice between Enhanced Tracking or any other mod for a stealth build, I'd choose something else. Enhanced tracking has it's place, but for a stealth build I am not so sure.

Depends what kind of stealth, too. If you're going to be doing heists, Improved Battery is a good one if you want to spend a LONG time outside scoping places out; however, I'd recommend Improved Jump Assist because it means you can always get to the high places when you need to - especially on higher G planets where the basic jump won't get you up there. People also favour bunny-hopping over Increased Sprint - but try bunny hopping your way out of a building on a low-G planet - when you've got the law on your tail. Also Increased Sprint is great on higher-G planets too.

I always got with stealth AND mobility - the two go hand-in-hand. Ditch enhanced tracking, go for Jump Assist, you won't regret it.
