Enjoying seeing new parts of the ships

I'm buying ships now just so I can use the new camera suite to see parts hitherto unavailable. My favourite new old purchase is the type nine... plenty of new bits to explore on the level below the main pilots seat!

It's great isn't it, even before the new suite I sometimes wandered round using room scale. I also get out the ship at stations and bases. I reckon the little yellow fences are roughly at waist height so positioning the camera is pretty easy. That sense of scale is just stunning as I crane my neck to look up my ship.

you should try mining in a type 7 and then have a look at the guns.....I go cross eyed and get a splitting headache
also bits of the outside of the ship missing don't help immersion

some ships having see through bits in the hull are utter facepalm

Like the C1 hardpoints on the T9, they don't have any cover and if you deploy weapons/mining lasers, it will be deployed "outside" the hardpoint opening. Have a look at it, it's horrible
