Newcomer / Intro Enough fuel to make the jump with 9 items but not 10.

I am still in my Sidewinder with cargo holds fitted (10 items). I often have enough fuel to jump with 9 items but not 10. Is there any module to correct this?
 
You can see the effect that any module has on your laden and unladen jump range in the Outfitting screen.

When you hover over a shiny new piece of equipment that you are considering buying the numbers in the bottom right of the screen change to tell you what the effect will be. If you increase your jump range it won't cure this issue - it will just happen at longer ranges. Any time you try to jump to a system that is between your laden and unladen range you will have this issue if you are carrying cargo.

It's not just the FSD that effects the range - most systems effect it, in fact, anything that has a mass greater than zero.

If you goto the outfitters, look for an Item or 2 you can swap ot that's lighter. It may be anything from a gun to a fuel scoop. One tone or 2 can make a big difference.
 
This is a last resort, but you can always fly around a bit to burn off fuel. Makes your ship lighter which increases your range at the expense of fuel so you may not have enough to make the jump.
