Hello CMDRs,

I had an accident on my bike on Monday and have been in hospital since and just been told I'm here for the weekend.

I would really appreciate it if you good folks could post something fun and elite related-matters not what it is, could be an elite video or article you've seen. Or perhaps you've taken some fantastic screen shots. Tell me what you'll be doing this weekend, cg's, piracy... Anything!

Obviously I'll be forum lurking too ��

The hard part for me will be not to laugh... 4 cracked ribs and a fractured scapular hurt!

So post away folks!

I'll probably be hanging around the Alien crash site, was there in open for a few hours lats night and had a great time with some friendly commanders. We did Science, we dropped Beer and Wine onto the wreck, we Booped it, good times. This time ill bring my SRV along too.

Did you get a rebuy on your bike, or where you riding without insurance cover?

I found various YouTube videos of the newly discovered alien crash site quite entertaining. The vid by CMDR Josh Hawkins was nice. Maybe that can cheer you up.

Oooof.

Motorised cycles, or the power of pedals? I'm guessing from your injuries it was the former...get well soon, anyway!

All I can recommend ED related is the few episodes of Nova Kane's great escape, and Obsidian Ants videos on YouTube...failing that I'd recommend the audiobook of Elite:Reclamation :p

Sorry to hear that CMDR and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Sounds more fun than what I will be doing: namely replacing a couple of engineer items in the inventory.......blasted Datamined Wake Exceptions! (And Chemical manipulators and Arsenic)
I got a truly hideous set of 2 rolls for Grade 5 FSD at Farseer for my FDL.....and it still only goes 14Ly. (I got my 'Vette to 21.37Ly    )

Then ran out of rolls and went off to see Tod, The Dweller and Lei Cheung for a while......

I can get the Arsenic and Chemical manipulators without much trouble....but I find wake scanning tedious at the best of times and haven't come across the above in a fair while now.....

I know the feeling brother. I T-Boned a Delta 88 Oldsmobile when I was 22 on my first Harley. It took 5 years and 3 surgeries to get me back on my feet and I had to learn how to walk all over again. I am now 48 and I still feel the affects of that accident. But it never stopes me from riding. I have my second Harley now and 21 states under my belt.

I hope you feel better and I'll see you on the road soon brother.

In the middle of a country park was a statue of a young couple. The statue had been there for ages, through everything that nature could throw at them. One day a passing wizard saw them, and decided to do something nice. He summoned all his power, and cast a spell. After the smoke had cleared, the couple were standing there, looking startled.

The wizard said "I have managed to bring you to life, but the spell will only last for 30 minutes or so, but during this time you can do anything you want".

The couple looked at each other, grinned, and headed off behind a nearby bush. There was various interesting noises, giggles, chuckles, and so on. After 15 minutes they came back out from behind the bush, looking flushed and happy. The wizard said "You have only used half of your time. You can do anything you want for another 15 minutes".

They looked at each other and grinned again. She then said "Ok, lets, but this time YOU hold down the pigeon while I s**t on it!".

Sorry if that hurt your ribs!

this weekend im gonna test my ricer eagle. Finaly got the grade 3 DDT and grade 3 engine focused PD. Can boost 4 times before the cap is empty. Allready loving it to bits!!

Nurses are taking good care of me, nhs is brilliant!

I'm just glad I was on my scooter as I think id be a lot worse off if I'd of been on my Ninja!

I did have my helmet jacket and gloves on which saved my life, helmet took a battering and I had an op on my knee to sort out the cap. Thankfully I don't need pins in the shoulder blade, the ribs are the painful bit though.

I would much sooner be at home jumping back to the bubble.

My phones being a brick and not playing the radio but I should be able to watch videos and streams &#55357;&#56842;

Fly safe CMDR's and try not to hit any walls... They hurt.

If you don't know them already, check out the Ghost Giraffe videos on youtube. The latest one is a close flyby and inspection of the crashed alien (ship? - I begin to wonder). Some of the other ones might be problematic for your ribs, though.

As to what I'm doing - continuing towards Sgr A*. Yesterday, I found my first BH/NS system en route that wasn't tagged by CMDR Kremmen. It was tagged by another CMDR instead. Going for AA-A systems really is fruitless. I believe I'm about to cross the last gap, going north from Eta Carinae, so then I can dive down towards the Neutron Fields. Looking at the map, I think I'll keep on going mostly north and then turn left and come into Sgr A* from the East. That area looks comparatively unexplored.

On the other hand, if I'm really bored (unlikely), I might cave in and buy Deus Ex.
