Entrance/Exit Queues, Gates & Ticket Offices

Can do or do without, but just like real parks all over the world it would be an incredible edition (since PC focuses on small details that really make a huge impact) to have entry gate queues, exit gate queues, and functional ticket offices.

My park entrances get extremely congested once I do open the park. Having a ticket office (guest relations) that sold our priority passes and actual park tickets that we could build in front of the turnstyle, with one-way queues could keep our park entries clean and organized. The ticket queue could continue to the entry gate/turnstyle queue. Those who bought a season pass/priority pass could take the Fast Lane queue to skip the regular queue to get into the park quickly.

Then we could have an exit gate queue. It's quite annoying watching 10 to 15 people going through the entry gate while guests are basically ghosting their way through guests coming into the park. So having a designated exit-only gate so guests leaving would automatically queue in the exit queue and depart easier.

This could also improve the park management with ticket sales. Our ticket offices could sale regular park tickets, as well as priority passes, and something new... seasonal passes, which were on the expensive side so our parks wouldn't lose in ticket sales, considering seasonal passes couldn't be sold no less than $150 per guest. The ticket offices could also sale park maps that guests receive once they purchase the ticket free of charge to park guests.

Also, just a tiny addition, but honestly it would only be for visual appearance... staff at turnstyles who check tickets much like the ticket staff at queues.

Separating the park entrance from the exit would be nice, my local park is setup like that. But I have not had a problem with too many guests trying to leave or blocking the entrance. This has been requested a lot too [up]

I don't think a queue for the park entrance/exit would be necessary, I don't use fast pass because I don't like spending the extra time on queues. I also don't think an additional building for ticket sales would be necessary, but I do wish the park entrance was bigger with an employee checking guests in.

I don't know how a "season pass" would work when guests stay in the park for years, and I've accepted that in PC you make more profits from paying per individual ride rather than paid entrance admission

If you want more management features check out my thread here [wink]
