All the build-up was a red herring, there won't actually be any Thargoids for 2.4, they're going to just focus on regular stuff for a little bit more before unleashing the real deal.

Damn, they must have updated the beacon since I seen it, I only ever heard "TANGO HOTEL ALPHA ROMEO GOLF OSCAR INDIA DELTA ROMEO ECHO TANGO UNIFORM ROMEO NOVEMBER". And yes they are coming, they are already n game, just the story arc involving them isn't all rolling out in a oner on tuesday, we will get some improvements to the core game as part of the continuing development program, but the insectoid overlord bit? Well we aren't even at 2.4 and they are already running CG's to develop those anti thargoid technologies/weapons, so I don't imagine it will be long atall before the shooting starts.
