Epic Games launcher help!

When I launch from Epic all that pops up is a message saying, "Please use the Epic launcher to start the game. Connection to the Internet is required." I already am doing both of these things and I don't know what is going wrong. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled and the issue is still here. Please help.

Hey there! We're aware of this issue and looking into it. Please restart the Epic Games Store launcher, then try launching the game.
