I bought the game from Epic Games. Now I am trying to play but after long time game throw a error that "the game failed to communicate with the authentication server". How can I solve it
I get this issue every few months, after consulting with customer support the first time it happened, we discovered that deleting the "GpuWorkTable.xml" file fixes it.
Navigate to wherever Epic downloads games, then EliteDangerous > Products > elite-dangerous-odyssey-64
Scroll down to find "GpuWorkTable.xml", delete it. The game will automatically create a new one upon launch.
I don't know why this works, Support Agent Nova also didn't know, or at least didn't share why if they did, but this fixes it anytime I get that error.
