Can't get into Odyssey on Epic Games Launcher. It is killing me. Someone help pls. I reinstalled the game, and verified the files. There is no way to make this work that I can find. I've even tried "linking" my account, but that appears to not be possible if you own the game through epic, only through steam. I am running out of ideas and actively losing out on first footfalls/other discoveries. Breaking my heart frontier, please help

I have the same Problem.
Got an Answer from the Support.
They gave me a Link to a Troubleshooting article which is not very helpful in our case.
They also said they are investigating issues with the Epic Launcher and try to Solve this as soon as possible...
I hope it really gets done as fast as possible...

Strangely, for me the Epic update went very smoothly.
I did the update from the Epic launcher - not the ED front page

Let me know if reinstalling makes a difference from what I can tell it's a issue with Frontier and epic games though the logs for the launcher are not returning the proper launch options probably because the epic game frontier connection that said heh this guy bought the expansion didn't happen.I did it also and do it now the second time

so my guess is whatever epic was suppose to send frontier telling them i bought the game didn't make it.

I was able to work around this by doing the following
1) Open Launcher
2) Options - Logout Machine
3) Close launcher
4) Start game from Epic
5) It will ask if you want to login or create new account
6) Select New Account this will take you to a web page asking for new account details on the right and existing account sign in on the left
7) Sign in with existing account
8) a pop up should open asking if it's ok to launch the launcher
9) now shows odyssey launcher

Current working theory is that the DLC does not appear in the Epic Game Store Library when purchased direct from Frontier.
If you downloaded Horizons for free from Epic, played the game so much you bought the alpha direct from Frontier to ensure they didn't lose a cut of the sale price (as a small moral gesture made in regards to receiving the original game for free) you are now completely locked out.
It's a similar situation to LEP and steam, but not the same.

What I did for epic is in the epic launcher, find ED, click in the three dots icon that should give you some options, and one of them is to enable the DLC Odyssey.
The email above is in reference to that option not being there when the dlc was purchased outside the epic store

Neither Horizons or Odyssey has launched in the last 24hrs (since first hotfix)
Verifying files does not work per pic's instructions does not work.
Neither disabling cashe check or deleting the launcher itself to force a new download works.
Using the launcher directly and resubmitting credentials such as email, login, and going through the automated email verifications system does not work.

Oddly enough, I have the same exact problem.........on my Frontier account. My second Epic account rolled to Odyssey just fine.
