I formatted my computer. Since I did any time I try to launch ED it takes me to the Epic site and I have to log in there before the launcher will appear on my computer. Been looking for a way to keep it logged in but can’t find one. If I log in and quit ED and do not turn off the computer, the ED launcher will just appear. Any ideas how to fix this? Before I formatted my computer the launcher would appear without having to log into the Epic site first.

Try the "Elite Dangerous minimal launcher" it runs a CMD prompt to which ever version you have it set to run. Just enter your login details once and save it, then when you start it logs in for you and bypasses the frontier login and game choice screen entirely.
