Epic Vulture vs Anaconda Dogfight

Nice vid. It looks like the vulture will absolutely punish large ships that don't wing up. Strong enough to tank turret fire, agile enough to evade the main guns, and with strong enough shields and chaff mounts to tank the turret fire

Not sure Epic is quite the right word to describe this dogfight ..... Maybe slightly dull would have been more appropriate.

But saying that maybe it was just more fun from the pilots view.

And even now, I just can't over the sounds in the game, they are just stunning.
 
Didn't look like that weapons loadout helped you at all. A couple of gimballed pulse lasers would have done the job far better.
 
Yeah the C2 Plasma is pretty awful and I couldn't hit a barn door with it. Also doesn't help having the cannon on a different sight...

This is the only issue I'm having with it so far - the 2 weapons and really not sure what to go with.
 
Hm, seems the Vulture has issues taking down even a nearly undefended / very poorly equipped Conda...

You definitely don't want to engage one that actually carries some potent Weapons in that configuration - that Vulture would be history within less than 30sec ;)

According to tests on beta, a fully kitted Vulture with dual C3 pulse lasers is going to very dangerous.
It can hold its own against multiple small enemies as well as 1on1.

Nice vid. Regarding shutting down thrusters and turning back on to get online, same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago in my ASP. Canopy blown, multiple systems down/offline after fight with expert NPC (maybe a Python?). I was dead in the water loosing oxygen. In desperation I turned off the thrusters and turned back on (this was in v1.1 no reboot and repair) and my thrusters came back on line and made it to star port with ~90 sec left. Bug or feature I was wondering?

Actually using mouse and keyboard but Thrustmaster sent me a T-Flight HOTAS X to play with, so I'll be trying that out soon. ;)

Probably a bug but not sure. If they were offline then they should probably show as offline in the module view though.
