I got the E: D soundtrack a month ago and I think I have almost worn out the CD, I've played it that much. I thought Jeremy Soule was the king of game soundtrack music. I also liked Alexei Zakharov's themes in the X series but damn this soundtrack is epic. The most ingenious thing for me is just how perfectly the tempo and melodies match the pace of the game. Its almost like the music is reacting to what I am doing in game.
My favourite tracks so far are "Neutral : Hypernova" and the sixth movement in the Frame Shift suite.
