My corvette, even bought and outfitted in li yong rui space is approaching the 50 mil rebuy mark. He likely didn't think to put reactive armor on his to start.

I hadnt been to eravate since I started playing so I went there tonight. Pretty interesting - very few endgame PVP players (although I did do a bit), mostly either new or mid game players. And MAN were there a lot....I thought my home system of Wu Guinagi was busy but it's NOTHING compared to eravate, there were like 20 hollow squares on the screen at one point!
I was really hoping to find more guys to fight though, ideally a murderer or two. Oh well. I became a pirate towards the end.

When is the new C&P system going into effect? Maybe folks are getting their fill before that's instituted.
I was in Cleve earlier just using the external cam in the station watching a couple CMDRs shoot at ships as they left the station. I saw one guy jump to hyperspace from inside the station (never thought that was possible). Watched the station shoot one ship repeatedly and never destroyed it, as it flew around inside the station shooting things.
I saw all this and I thought to myself "Why have I stayed away from Open for so long?"
But Open is good for some things, like reinstancing the missions.
