Notes.

Ge Forces throughout never exceed I305, outward banks are actually a thing and used on a few RMC coasters, considering this is a RMC Trex, I would assume having a few is realistic.

The Mountain is made to be boarding on possible and impossible. Island of Adventure on steroids built with tech that does not exist yet, but possibly could.

The mechanical aspects of the ride are intended to take place within the mountain. Same goes for the park and staffs personal use building, and staff inner workings.

I set out to make the 2020-2025 "TRex gigas may not even come out for another 10 years, never mind full circuit Stratas, equivalent of beast as a steal coaster, over the top and record breaking in near every category yet still possible in the future.

The Mountain idea was actually to make the 425ft hight not look or feel silly as free standing that height would be near impossible to do while still making a profit.

Finally, the lore is that the park is actually built into a inactive volcano the mountain already existed they simply built down into it and used synthetics to give it the strange dragon appearance.

More updates soon.

oh and the theme comes from Skies of Arcadia.

Looks beautiful and spectacular! The caves scenery and those "don't-breathe" drops were great. [wacky]

On a technical note, maybe you should work on some of those sudden turns tho, there were a couple that I feel must have too much lateral G's.

So I just rode the coaster. I like it! Most parts are very smooth. It's not my fav (no offense) simply because I like more realistic rides (ft, speed, length, etc) and more compact, complex designs.

Great work though! Really like the theme you have going on there!

Yea still some quirks to work out. All the rides forces don't exceed I305s However Im fairly sure some just dont track properly in planet coaster so need to be tweaked.

Thanks, always been my style to be on the fense of fantasy and possible. Still havent done any of the relism tweaks as of yet. As in que work, backstage, maintenence exe.

Adressed much of this in the update.

Thinking of changing the end to have some more unqiue RMC style inversions. And make one or 2 of the air time hills invert you. Also going to speed up lift.

It's definitely improved!! I swear the first video had some harsh turns, but now it's smooth as silk! I really enjoyed it. Also, your work on vegetation is awesome (somehow missed that in the first video) :)

Thanks for sharing.

I just watched the video again as well. The harsh turns towards the end of the ride are quite improved. There is one right at the very end that goes from outward banked turn to regular banked to hill that still has a rough spot in it. Otherwise, from what you've advertised, it's a really nice ride!!

I love the underground themed elements (paused the video a few times to check them out) although you cruise by them so very fast sometimes it's hard to appreciate them at 70mph. :)

That is actually an entire section of the park. I have an inverted coaster a flat, and drop tower and a bunch of shops/restaurants in there.

I just started working on the vegetation in the first vid.

New Update with a whole new scenery that bring in the themes from Skies of Arcadia in a big way and some reworked elements.

This is about the most beautiful coaster I've ever seen. Fantastic job! I cringe at the amount of time that must have taken to build to start with, not counting the updates you've done since the 1st post.

Did you build this coaster by itself first and then build the land around it, or vice versa? If coaster first, did you notice changes in fear and excitement when you put tunnels over some sections and hills under others?

Thank you for the compliments.

This coaster went threw many many many iterations before even 0.5. The track as always built into a mountain. but just a very basic two mountains. With no scenery. I did not play Beta or Alpha at all so It has been a learning experience throughout "my first coaster in this game".

Excitement wise, I gave up on excitement early on as I realized the patterns that earn you a high excitement rating don't really add up to what gives you one IRL. The only stats I care about are airtime totals, nausea, and intensity and how I feel something would translate IRL "even if tech is far away" I managed to keep those all in the green. 5 for Intensity 2 for nausea.

For example the original first Airtime hill used to provide far more excitement, when I changed it to have the unique trait for going more then 90 degrees while going up the hill launching into the air half way up, the excitement went down by 2 points throughout. Clearly when you watch both POVs the new version was far more exciting. Tunnels wise I think it has something to do with there being an internal excitement bonus for the distance the track has from the ground.

So at this point I just design for what I wish coasters had the tech to be. So realistic fantasy I guess lol.

FYI I have put around 40 hrs into the coaster so far. I will continue to work on it until I feel I have attained a level of detail and skill that the more famous YouTubers and creators have.

Well, that's definitely not your "1st coaster ever" I"m sure, just in PC :) . The whole thing projects the same sort of aura as a fine Damascus sword. That is, heated, folded, beaten, repeated countless times to get that fine-grained swirly pattern, then very carefully polished and repolished about the same number of times. Quite impressive.

Yeah, I've come to the conclusion that PC peeps have somewhat different tastes than us real humans. So there's definitely a choice right now----build it for humans or build it for peeps. And that to me depends on which type of game you're playing. If it's about money, then you need to make the peeps happy. If you're sandboxing your dreams, then do it for humans.

After all, Planet Coaster is not Earth, it's Planet Coaster. You can tell just by looking at the night sky. Some constellations are recognizable, but some you'd expect to be near those you recognize aren't there. I'm sure there's an astronomical program out there that can estimate where in the galaxy Planet Coaster is based on the differences in the night sky.
