Esc button should escape from Friends and Private group menu

As said in the title, Esc isn't used to escape from the friends and private group menu back into the game.

This should be standard in my opinion.

Please explain why?

Esc, is used, just to get to the logging out menu and so you can continue to leave the game; with two more clicks.

It does and should not, pause the game. That is the way it is, I am afraid.

Esc also closes the logging out menu I just think it should be standardised across all Out-of game menu interfaces. Pressing Escape should bring you back into the game like doing so at the logging out menu. Or at very least bring you to the logging out menu.

This isn't about pausing the game it's about providing hotkeys.

I think it fine the way it is. Please note. The game does Pause when you using the ESC key.

This is a multiplayer game....

There is no pause.... wait how do you not know this? Am I misunderstanding what you meant by pause?
