Escape and drinking problems since update

I just wanted to add Meerkats to my zoo after the update came out. Instead, I have Warthogs and Jaguars suddenly jumping barriers that were more than high enough until now, a Nyala straight up walking through a glass wall, and an Elephant and Springbock who just refuse to drink all of a sudden. Oh, and some animals suddenly are able to go up terrain that they could not before. A polar bear managed to get boxed in a location that caused him to fall out of the zoo area that way.

Not quite how I imagined my first sessions with the Africa pack. Is anyone facing similar problems?

Yes, I had Flamingos and Kangaroos jumping over their fence in habitat that ran for years without problems.

I also had the problem that the macaques can leave their shelter anymore because if the traversable area

Yup, i too had some weird escaped, with my tapir and wolves for example. The habitats where all good before the update. And all of a sudden I had to add extra rocks and trees. The red escape thingies were also not inside the habitat but a bit away from the fence, outside the blue traversable area.

Yes, a number of animals were able to escape, I had to change habitats to stop them. It’s seems like the update gave a number of animals more ways to escape

Seems like they changed the hit boxes. After the update, my grizzly bears Can't enter their shelter any Longer. My otters on the other hand now have all the shelter they need. Before that wasn't the case.

I would like to know they are going to revert this back to the way it was, because we all are changing our habitats to conform to the update, but if they revert it, we have it to change it all back

I had something similar where suddenly my lions jumped the fence, where it had been fine before. But I've always had a little bit of trouble with certain animals escaping their habitat for unknown reasons, so I didn't think too much of it. Good to know it's a bug and not just me!

I had a kangaroo that wouldn't drink, even if I placed it directly next to a water source.
My peafowls who have been kept in an area with a null barrier for the entire time my zoo is open are suddenly escaping all the time.
And I can't select individual animals for relocation, selling or release into the wild anymore. The buttons in the menu of any single animal are missing.
Some of my animals are getting boxed without reason but the button to release all the animals (or single ones) out of their boxes are missing as well.

Same, my game's suddenly like "escpaes...escapes everywhere..." when no animals should be able to get out. It's like it saw the still not fixed animals swimming through barriers bug and went, "hey! Peeps def gonna love this happening to land animals everywhere as well!" Surprise: we do not. Hope they fix these issues soon or I won't be playing for a while again because this is no fun >.<

I've had numerous escapes since the patch, but escapes were an issue for me before. The heat map is not showing escape points, so I assume it is a bug.

I am constantly getting notices that my meerkats have been in boxes too long. When this happens, I discover that one is simply sitting in a box inside their habitat, and I have to manually "unbox all animals."

I do not know if this is happening because they are escaping without an alert, and they are eventually boxed by workers and just left, or if workers are randomly boxing the meerkat when they don't escape and simply leaving them there inside the entrance of their habitat. I am guessing this is a bug too.

I also had the escape issues with enclosures that had safely held the same animals (lions and jaguars) for over 100 years.

Unfortunately I have joined the club of escaping anmimals. My lions almost kill my okapis. They never escaped before the update. I have a concrete barrier and rocks covering the barrier. the traversable area shows no escaping points, yet the lions walk through that point.

I just stopped playing after five minutes, because my 60 peafowls were all over the place.
This is annoying, please fix it!

I've had my Bengal Tigers jump over 6ft walls (over the requirement) which held them for 70 years. Literally jumped over it right infront of me like it was 2ft. My Alligators also kept escaping in a non-traversable area where they swim for flip sake. Had to edit the terrain to keep them in.

It may be possible that smaller trees of bushes are giving these escaping problems. I puzzeled around a bit and found out it helps when I put a tree further away from a barrier . At least 3 meters or so. Hopefully there Comes a solution quickly for this issue.

Yesterday my lemurs did escape because of a meshfence OUTSIDE the barrier. ( even it was not changed to a null barrier and had anti climbing). Gemsboks too had escaping points at the outside of their habitat ,and the cause couldn't be a plant or tree this time. The only way to keep them in was to make the barrier much higher. ( almost 2 m instead of 1,25m).
And every time I log in to my minizoo the meerkats and fennek foxes are coming out of boxes, and I get the message that they are joining the group. Well, I asume the team is working on it.
