Escape pods in damaged stations.

This might sound stupid but I put too many limpets in my cargo hold once and couldn't figure out why I couldn't pick anything else up. My hold was of course filled with the extra limpets. 😬

Did anybody figure this one out? I have cargo space, I've picked up every last thing possible using 2 limpet controllers and 12 heat sinks, i tried it both with the missions from the rescue ship and without...... nothing. I pick them all up, nothing but materials shows up. no black boxes, no escape pods, nothing.

take collector limpets and heatsinks... lots of heatsinks!!

if you target the thing wanted and than shoot the limpet, it'll collect only that selected item, meaning it's 1-to-1 with limpets and wanted items (the limpet gets destroyed after successful delivery)

They always burn up....the limpets

To get them to spawn, simply land inside and get any passenger rescue mission
Not sure how/if they spawn on stations being repaired

bloody clever... I go to the damaged station, realize it have escape pods inside. Inside... escape pods... fkin smart move to launch them into the burning, collapsing station, nice engineering there. I bet noone at the table raised a voice on the idea, Hmmm lets face the escape pod launchers into the station, so in case of emergency... noone will truly escape. Anyways, so I request docking, which is the moment for me, when the pods are actually spawning. I approach the entrance, but I think, hell I'm not going into this furnace, I have enough range, so from inside the entrance I open cargo hatch, start launching limpets inside, they start collecting stuff, guess what happens. First I get a fine for blocking the entrance, then 15 second later I get destroyed by the stations defenses. Kudos!

Ignore list filled with cargo items.
I considered doing this once I had less than 30 bins of free cargo to get all the mats first (drones won't pick up new items when they can't get rid of the one they are carrying due to a full cargo bay), then de-ignore that cargo cargo to fill up.

anyways since the ship nearby had no missions available, nor the station had any, one occupied escape pod gave about 10k bounty... doesn't worth at all
