Escape Pods marked as "Stolen"?

OK. I had my first successfull encounter with a Scythe and managed to escape with more than just my life. Namely some damaged and not damaged escape pods. Problem is that they were marked as "stolen" when i arrived to Rescue Megaship. What is going on?

Hmm I thought this had been fixed. Haven't seen it happen since update 18.
When the scythe uses its hatch-breaker-type drones on your ship, the pods get marked with the stolen tag (because they were your cargo). But it doesn't get cleared when you pick them back up even though you're the legal owner.

And while i'm at it: Does anyone have an advice if there are any AX combat sites in atmosphere near OYA? I'm starting to get a hang on fighing thargoids but those thargling swarms are killing me.

Found out that if you jettison the stolen pods near the Rescue Megaship the Search & Rescue ships will gather them up. You get a small fine but at least they get rescued.
