Hello,

can anyone explain about escape vector and to close drop, this happend after I engaged and see that I have to aligin to escape vector , and after tht I see that to close drop,

what happend when I see those? thanks.

You are probably coming in too close to a sun so the FSD automatically shut down your supercruise drive before you got too hot and exploded. It's an automatic fail safe.

When you try to re-engage your SC drive make sure you cooled down as low as you can go first (as charging your drive heats your ship up - more so when you are right next to a sun). Then you need to align with an escape vector (normally directly opposite the sun) to escape from your current position.

What you are best doing is waiting until your heat stops counting down - turn off all non-essential modules to reduce your heat further - then line yourself up pointing directly away from the sun. Start charging your FSD and keep an eye on your heat with any luck your escape vector will be near your position and boom, you should get out with minimal heat damage.

It sounds like you got too close to a star. If you try to jump away you need to align with the escape vector first. Should be able to see which way to face on the route/navigation thing just to the left of your radar.
