In the two years since i got my dk2 and subsequent vive ive never spilled a drink while playing Elite, i dont take the headset off to to drink or use the passthrough camera, being consistent is quickly rewarded :p

I punched a half pint of milk all over my room while playing elite in VR the other week, bottles only now lmao but I quite like the straw in a jar solution :D

I currently use a double lined bottle that sort of looks like an energy drink can (because that's what they had at the store when I was feeling frustrated with normal glassware in VR) but this has just been added to my Amazon cart because in the last week alone, I have knocked my drink off my desks thinking it was just a few inches farther than it actually was and panicking to clean a spill is the last thing you want to be doing when you're exiting a jump and heading towards a star while thousands of LY from a station for repairs.

Bottle on the floor for me, so I don't spill it over the keyboard/mouse if I forget about it for a second.

Maybe I should add a cupholder to my chair or something.
