Eta Carina go-around timelapse

Little thingy I did, I went around Eta Carina nebula for about two-thirds of a circle, 54 systems/frames.

It's almost 3 Mb so it may load for a few seconds

I know it's nauseatingly shaky, it was hard to line all the screenshots up in game so there's no tilt between them, and too much trouble for doing it in Photoshop (or not, I'm not really a PS expert).

Awesome!! Very well done!!! Love people being creative with what we have...content they say? ppftt...plenty to work with out there!

+1

How do you make the animation ? I have Galaxy maps that make a great gif, but nowhere seems to upload gifs. I converted it to an avi, but it just went to blurr

Edit : Wierd. I can now upload GIFS. Quite quite sure I could not do that a few days ago

Nice. Now we need to put that through whatever someone used to remove the camera shake from Star Trek episodes in order to reveal how it is just the actors waving around in a silly way while the camera is shaking and the set is steady:

Nice! Could you upload the individual images somewhere? I could stabilize them if you want. :)

(Later tonight after kids are asleep that is)

Sure, you'll have to manually download each one though, for what ever reason imgur didn't let me make an album with these images so here's the links, they should be in proper succession, just number them when you save them:

Nice, as Dom says, how did you do it?

Jump to system, go beyond 1000ls or more in case of brighter stars, point to nebula, take screenshot, import all the images in Photoshop each in its own layer, make animated slideshow, save as .gif :)

If you dont have Photoshop, there are a couple of websites that will combine images into a gif, but there are size limitations unless you pay
