Let's try to end Eternal September as quickly as possible, or these forums will truly go down the drain.
It's hard, close to impossible, not to be drawn into emotional discussions, defending a game we love, but lately I feel like a lot of people forget to see the complete picture, instead of the "here and now".
Unfortunately, now we don't have the "It's an alpha/beta/gamma"-"excuse", so we'll have to be even more careful in how we deal with the vocal minority.
It's a "ME! ME! ME!"-world, and a lot of us are too old and too grumpy to want to deal with that crap. So we lash out at people...
Let's try to be better than that. It's hard, and I've failed miserably several times myself, but if we don't at least try, we surely won't change anything.
