Eucalyptus tree on the screenshot - High probability of australian DLC 😁

I think I saw the Eucalyptus tree behind the vending machines on the screenshot. That means there is the huge possibility that new biome is australian desert and we will be getting australian DLC very soon.

I hope for Emu and Red Kangaroo šŸ˜

Cassowary, dingo, tasmanian devil, and a quoll species are probably my tops, along with little blue penguins, though I'm not sure how likely they are at this point. Kangaroos seem pretty inevitable. Wombats, bilbys, bandicoots, and quokkas would be welcome, as well, and emus, though I didn't mention them because they're fairly similar in appearance to ostriches. Kiwis could be good, too. I'd really like some more smaller critters. Not crazy about the idea of koalas - they just don't interest me all that much, and they're not very active critters, and on top of that I don't know how they'd handle them. Ground-dwelling koalas just don't seem right to me. Just personal taste, though. Not really sure either way about the platypus. But the first three and little blue penguins are the ones I'd love to see most of all. :)

Maybe they can add them as a large exhibit animal in a Eucalyptus tree and it moves to different spots each time we leave and come back. It will have more complex animations than the other exhibit animals though. Ex: Eating Eucalyptus leaves, sleeping, drinking water from the tree through misters, and etc. Maybe possibly move up and down the tree a little bit. Also, when they have babies, they'll be on the back of the adult koala. Anyways..idk, just putting it out there. šŸ˜….

I don’t get why people keep saying that koalas and kangaroos animations will be a challenge, I’m sure they can manage it. Of course if a koala is included I’d be disappointed if it is on the ground all the time.

I really hope a koala is included because if it isn’t it will mean that it’s impossible to make a realistic Australian zoo.

Someone pointed out that the Springbok is missing their iconic pronking. To an extend, it's somewhat similar to hopping.
Polar Bear doesn't have proper diving mechanics, so adding animals with proper mechanics is still a possibiltiy.
Koala is basically a exhibit animal (in terms of movement)
And no animals has a pouch for their babies.

So I understand their POV but adding new movement mechanics are part of these animals. Can't imagine a kangaroo without hopping :D
(still in middle on this one but I don't think it's easy to get these animals right)

I will add to this, and ride your wave since at times I fell awful to always seem to be pointing out deficiencies within the game, but how else can we get improvements? I love new species and the more of them the better, but one thing that really puts me off is when animals do not behave naturally, it just does not seem right, and it is a great shame. A very obvious, and much more bothersome lack of behavior that the Springbok, can be found in the Orangutan. It is basically just a gorilla with a few distinct animations and slightly different movement, not only is one of my least favored models, since the iconic hair that hangs is all missing, but the Orangutan is known for hanging and swinging from tree branches, climbing platforms etc, all of it missing from Planet Zoo. It is really sad when you think about it, because if the Orangutan was added like this, it means the other animations that give it identity are not possible, and that will then exclude Gibbons and Siamangs from the game, as in that rig the lack of these movements that basically defines the animals would be too great to ignore.

wow, thx. i am impressed, that you can determine this. is it the small one left of the vending machines? i am not good at it, but the fern on the bottom next to the streetfox-coffee is also not in game now, maybe someone could tell us, what fern that is.

There is a colorfull eucalyptus tree behind the vending machines (you can only see part of it) :)

Someone already mentioned that it is a Staghorn Fern and all or at least almost all Species of Staghorn Fern can be found in Australia

I am bit sad about no Tasmanian Devil though, but maybe it would be perfect for a halloween? :p
I'll be happy with Tasmanian Devil's if and whenever we get them. But how do you figure Halloween? Critters I associate with Halloween include cats, bats, rats, spiders, toads, ravens and werewolves šŸ˜‰. Nothing from the land down under.

Same here, Tasmanian Devil and Halloween - don't see any logical connection.
I think the combination Thanksgiving/North America/Autumn would give more possibilities for a DLC.

Wouldn't get excited for rats/bats/spiders for Halloween - maybe a exhibit only DLC ?

I think you should imagine being in a dark Forest at Night and then hearing a Tasmanian Devil. At least I think that's where that Person got the Idea from
Bit of a stretch on that one :p
I think Tasmanian Devils are so rare in most zoos over the world - nobody knows what they sound like :D
