So I may have happened to stumble upon something, but I don't know what to make of it. I was researching David Braben in which I found out he is an honorary member of the OBE. There happens to be a system in Elite called OBE. After I looked into OBE I found that there is a single base called Eulers base. Euler is a famous mathematician known for his logarithmic equations. One of these equations (known as Eulers Formula) states that, for any real number x: e^(ix)=cos x+isin x. I'm no where near smart enough to think how, but both Eulers formula and the unknown probe schematic have designated angles on a circular platform.

Sounds reasonable. I looked into the history of Elite's conception and found a link between Col 70 (Unknown Permit), Wasp-35, Exoplanets, Silicon Based biology, and Thargoids.
