Good movie, and interesting use of the documentary/lost footage style. Ending didn't quite measure up to the quality of the rest, but some may disagree.
Another great indie-sci fi is "Coherence". Minimalistically told, and proof you need no special effects to tell good sci fi stories.

I have to say, I rather liked the ending. But that was just me.
I was a little dubious with the way they interacted, one guy making a sexualised comment about one of the female crew. If you're going to be spending however long the mission was planned for, confined with a couple of young attractive women and a group of hetro guys, well, the consequences might be a little messy.
Equally silly was some of the childish arguments. Such a mission would hardly be democratic. In any case, once they had lost contact, I would have thought protocol would be to turn around. Though having only one transmitter, cited outside and not shielded from radiation is just a bit too silly. Though that was the plot of the whole film.
Still good acting a nice filming.
