Please excuse my ignorance, I've asked a similar question on another website before with limited and somewhat confusing response, but do European parks not have Larson Flying Scooters? This is a flat ride that in the States is rather hard to find a regional park of significant size (e.g., Cedar Fair, Six Flags, Hershey, etc.) that doesn't have a set of scooters. Thus, the wonderment Planet Coaster doesn't include the ride. Unless European parks don't have flying scooters and thus the development team doesn't have an easy opportunity to investigate and see them live in action. Thanks in advance to your time and attention.

Rides like this would probably fail due to the many safety regulations in Europe. There are directives at EU level and others in individual European countries. Germany probably has the toughest safety guidelines in carousels in Europe, which were tightened even last year.
But there are a few "static" models of that ride in the workshop.
