One of the dilemmas/issues as long as support is in any way limited is that there will always be a tension between the needs of general zoo builders and specialist/realistic zoo builders.
So if I build an Alpine wildpark-style zoo, I absolutely need Alpine ibex not Nubian and a Eurasian lynx, not Iberian.
If I build a Spanish zoo I’m really going to want to include Iberian ibex and Iberian lynx.
I’m not saying there should be an ibex pack (of course I’d buy it and use it and love it) but just highlighting that the random selection approach for species will ultimately limit the possibility of building realistic zoos that aren’t general ABC collections. Unless the gaps (emu and capybara please, for example) are later filled.
