It seems impossible to evade enemy fire, I try rolling, yawing, strafing, FA off and "floating". But no matter what the AI lands a hit. Kinda frustrating considering conflict zones are the best way way to start off.
I am in no means good at dogfights, hardly even avrage, but one thing that sometimes work is pull a hard pitch at best cornering speed while at the same time firing the latheral thrusters to push your ship downwards.
It takes you a bit out of the loop and occationally throws the pursuer off track getting you on their six, although often at a very close range.
But at least it breaks up the endless turning
Im sure others will give you alot more and better advice aswell!
But keep in mind also that IF someone gets in a perfect position on you and opens up, you will be at a big disadvantage even if not destroyed in the first attack. For all intents and purposes, its nothing wrong with dying in a situation like this, its rather expected
