Eve music is great. If you haven't already check out 10 year anniversary symphony
To funny. First thing I turn off is any game music.
Eve does have really good music.
But if a game has good music and you mute it immediately how will you ever know if its something you might like?

So, i recommended playing portal to a mate. He finished it, thought it was a bit boring, and didn't understand why people thought it was funny.
Turns out he played out through without any sound enabled.
I always mute music in games but EVE is an exception. Best in game space tracks I heard.

i would be more likely to play one more astronaut by i mother earth lol.
well i have a playlist. i set it up for gtav before i realised gta online wasnt all that much fun. theres a lot more stuff than that one song in it of course. but that song seems ideal for the soundtrack if i ever made movies of me playing elite.
OR i could play some of the Halo music. but not in videos only while playing. maybe.

Not much music here, it interferes a bit much with the Voice comms, TS and Discord talking for me.
There's a lot of good tracks inside and outside of various games and everyone has their preferred ones. Can't say that Elite has a bad one though, but that's just my personal opinion.
Yet, if there has to be a sountrack I'd play aside of the Elite music when flying through space, it's this one. Blame it on my youth, because that's where I heard it and will remain until the end of my days.

Very synthetic, actually the ED music is of a very high quality, the problem is that sometimes you just need to listen to something else.

not sure if 'impressed' is the right word, but I would expect him to be the type who has 100% maxed out chars in at least 3 Korean MMOs. Anyway the idea itself, of completing Portal with sound off, has

Eve music is about the best Ive ever heard in any game, while ED has the best sound fx...the music in ED got boring after a week, havent listened to it fer ages and always have sommething else on in the background, while sound fx are dialled upto the max. The music in this game is akin to those old tranquility compilations made back in the late 90s that ye pick up in car boot sales fer 50p ^
Years after I stopped playing Eve Online (I check it occasionally) I still have a play list of all the songs, because it's so good. Eve Online's music does a great job at enhancing the experience of being immersed in the world. It's fun and relaxing to listen to. You could hire the guy who made Eve Online's music Jon Hallur. Elite Dangerous only has a few ambient soundtracks so Frontier should add a lot more.

Elite Dangerous does have some amazing soundtracks, but only a few are played during supercruise and on planets. They need to add a lot more soundtracks so it doesn't get repetitive. Some of the album soundtracks are short and could be combined.
A lot of ambient soundtracks on the ED album haven't been used for supercruise or exploration. Those should be added.

One of the things I miss most about Eve Online is definitely the soundtrack.
