EVE Online and Elite Dangerous ? One game in future possible ?

Maybe i risk my Account now, but i want say / write what many people are already thinking right now.

Elite has the unlimited Sandbox - and EVE has the social mechanics which is missing in Elite atm (and some other stuff like Bookmarks, Fleet, Store, Produce, etc...)

And many many suggestions i red, i guess they are from EVE players. So we all know - this is just the beginning...

Won't happen:
Elite is instanced different than EVE hence the different "max players per instance" thing.
Elite market is non player created - in EVE players run the market.
Elite dont and will not have crafting- EVE is all about player made ships/modules.
The list goes on.
Beside what would be the point of two games that plays the same way and obeys the same rules? That does not mean that one game can't borrow something from the other.
If I want to play EVE - I play EVE, if I want to play Elite - I play Elite. Variety is always a good thing.

Me thinks the EVE studio or headfigures have there own vision of what kind of game the gonna make and are many years of evolution of there game. It a old MMO still running and evolving. Getting big.
DB has his vision of what it will be and is just starting very light to become something big to if successfully. It a begin ED 1.0

I'm still stunned that EVE have gotten rid of the clone upgrade feature :( Pod-killing is fairly pointless now. It's taken the edge off going into null-sec, which I used to like doing from time to time. A bit of an irony in itself, because they probably did it to encourage more players to go further afield.

As for games swiping ideas off one another. There's nothing really wrong with that, as long as it's implemented well. There are a few good features in EVE that would do well in Elite Dangerous....

....multiple character slots being one of them!
