During Eve Fanfest 2025, the CEO of CCP Games Hilmar Pétursson said they want to make Eve Online the "ultimate scifi-MMO", a gaming platform that has Eve Online (space sandbox MMO) + EVE Vanguard (MMO first person shooter). Quote: "Other games focus on having people going up against monsters, maybe in small groups, whereas EVE is focused on building a society and supplying the tools and the rules to operate it."
About the graphics a CCP developer said: "we've always pride ourselves on making EVE one of the most beautiful games out there, not once but again and again. We reworked visuals, added tech and push boundaries of what's possible, because staying beautiful is not about chasing trends, it's about keeping EVE alive, current and worthy of the stories that you write it in."
EVE Galaxy Conquest is a strategy mobile game. It has been installed 680,000 times with over 78 million battles since launch. However, it's unoriginal and as deep as a puddle.
