Never really did capital freighter scan missions, but just curious.
Scanned uplink on a ship and it gave me its routes to other systems, as usual, but do these ships really move every week on their next route or just say their routes and remain where they are?

I also studied their behaviour couple of weeks ago, and I noticed they really move after weekly tick. I was curious to learn about this missions - "scan megaship uplink".

Most of them are on a static flight plan, so if you see a Megaship at the last stop of its route it will jump to the first system in the list on the next tick.

And before you find out the hard way: The datalink can only be scanned once after a megaship has jumped to a new location. Which in turn means that a scan mission can only be done once per ship per week (assuming a regular, weekly tick).
