Really curious from the second we saw that great white feeder why it was just some potentially random event. In Jurassic World this moment is hyped up as a big deal with a host in front of a large crowd. This also got me to think about the briefly alluded to Pachy Arena that was never featured in the film, and this only grew stronger when Frontier revealed the Jurassic Park: San Diego Amphitheatre. I wanted to discuss this separate from the attractions thread I made since its really specific and distinct in many ways.
The amphitheatre that Frontier has modeled is gorgeous and I never thought I would see the day we could have this building. However, that building is just a way nicer looking Hotel from the first game. You can't really draw dinosaurs into the amphitheatre without trying to use a feeder and that doesn't always work leaving it as a mostly glorified set piece. That is what the shark feeder shares in common with it and where I think we can take them into a more interesting direction. Why not add schedulers and make these into memorable events?

These buildings and show events are very similar, so they are grouped together as a special category of attraction. However, there are some small differences between each of them that helps set them apart from one another.
Amphitheatre
Pachy Arena
These events and shows rely on heavily scripted animated scenarios. Thankfully, Frontier has added viewpoints to the amphitheatre, so now it just needs to be placeable, but otherwise we are nearly there. That amphitheatre is a colosseum for medium/large animals to fight it out, just drop in the animals manually for unscripted mayhem or select a scripted scenario from the event scheduler to get things moving. To ensure unscripted events aren't a bore, I also think a lure should be built into the amphitheatre to keep the animals wanting to be in view of the crowd. For aesthetic purposes it could simply be prey calls via a PA system of some sort.
The Pachy Arena serves the same function as the amphitheatre except for small animals with the exception of adding a few extra recreational activities. It's small and scrappy more in line with a fight than a televised brawl like the amphitheatre.
The T-Rex Kingdom, on the other hand, is loaded with fan service scenarios surrounding the Rex, and feeding shows for large prey items be they live bait or dinosaur. The enclosure is large, tailored for accommodating 2 Rexes by default. Only facility in the game that doubles as both an enclosure and attraction.
Once we get to the Lagoon, its a pretty standard feeding show. Instead of a random event with Great Whites being eaten, its now tied to a scheduler. Beyond that just allowing Tylosaurus and Liopleurodon eating from the shark feeder adds variety. It also automatically lowers the viewing stands during scripted events to give you that more authentic film experience.
I also just really want a Pachy Arena, The Pachycephalosaurus doesn't get enough love by people, such a great animal.
