Eventually big ships become boring

Biggest ship I have is a clipper, I don't even like it that much.

I think it depends on what you like to do and what you define as fun.

Trading is probably better in a T9, bounty hunting in a Vulture or IC, exploring in an Asp and mining in a Python.

If you're looking for, as my 'Murrican' cousins would have it, bang for buck, then the Anaconda has it all. There is nothing you can't do in it, apart from the outpost landing of course.

Only you know what you define as fun. Stick with the ships that provide it.

The Anaconda is an tool in my opinion and its aesthetics match this pretty good.

While i am a bit at odds with the general ship design FD did choose, the Anaconda is by far the worst offender in my opinion. While the basic line is okish, the details dont realy look pretty tbh.
Yes, it can do almost everything, but the flight model and cockpit view are not that nice. Other ships are way better in that regard (Python is my favorite).

Compared with other ships the anacondas cost are very prohibitiv in many regards. While it can do everything, there are ships that can shine just as well in most roles with much much lower costs. But on the other side if u have one it can realy fill all roles pretty decently. It only costs a lot.

I have noticed when hunting with the FAS in High intensity-res sites that when the conda arrives on the scene the atmosphere shifts instantly. Nothing else I have noticed
can do that yet. Pythons get my attention for sure but i dont hesitate too long before i go for its throat. Clipper, FDL and the like...the throat..... But the Conda at least until i can consistantly maneuver myself into its attack dead zone has my respect. This is the ship i want to be swaggering into these zones with and what im saving for. ....as a pure combat conda. No trading or hauling much for me anymore. I wonder about the Python as a combat ship...and might give that a whirl b4 the conda..

I own at least one of every ship in the game, A specked for their role(s). Multiple Condas. No, they're not boring, just need to be used right for the purpose.

And the end-game ship? It's Cobra.

I was frustrated having a home base and using only my Asp to go anywhere far. So I sold my Combat Python, Vulture and Asp and pimped out my Tradaconda, ok so sensors and life support are D rated.

I'm having a blast with my mostly A rated Conda. SCBs and A 7 shields have taken up a lot of the cargo space, but there enough to haul some tonnage if I want to make a quick buck. The game is a lot more fun playing the nomadic way. I just pick a mission and see where it takes me. Stopping off at a hazres and then gravitating towards the community goal. Which I now use as a temporay location for a base.

I really like the conda actually and have been enjoying farming haZRES sites with it.

I still have a python for doing missions though, the conda isn't do great for that.

Some people think stamp collecting and cricket are fun..'doesn't mean they are right!
Largest ship I have used for any length of time is the awesome FAS - like a big DBS..with drift and less 'thruster braking' control - but you can't have everything! Before the FAS, I was alternating between the DBS and Courier! My Python/FDL were gone within a week!
