Eventually made it to Hutton Orbital

If you take the time and go to neighboring systems you can pick up missions there and net about 30-40 mil for your trouble to there.

Welcome to the club! It was on my Elite 'bucket list' for a long time! Finally did it after about 2 years in the game!

For the Mug!

I really should do this... 3 years and I've never made the short little trip to pick up my Free Conda... I was just thinking about that the other day, what with the Thargoids and all..

There needs to be a ingame purchaseable Hutton Orbital Mug for your dash board, comes in two versions, a "animated" perpetually steaming version and a static version. :)

Congrats, I went there after playing the game for about a month, back in March.
I wanted to go to Sol system but found out I needed a permit, so I picked the closest star from our beloved Solar System and ended up in Alpha Centauri.
I look at the system map and saw 1 station: “Hutton”, i had no clue it was so far; it was gruesome and very long ;-)

Rite of passage for me as a newbie

I hadn't gone to H.O. until relatively recently. Maybe a year ago or something. Not really far enough away to be a significant enough accomplishment to be particularly interesting to me. Testing out supercruising between stellar systems soon after getting the game was more to my liking. My controller wasn't calibrated/dead-zoned at the time either, so I had to check the heading every handful of minutes for several hours. I did it more to see what would happen though than just for the sake of it.

Either way, glad you enjoyed the trek. I suppose it is a right of passage of sorts.

Cheers.
