A Polish company called Mepi has built a device that lets you see yourself from a third-person viewpoint, just like when you play GTA.

The team behind the 3rd person replicator used an Oculus Rift dev kit, a couple of cameras, and some DIY scaffolding to produce the game-like effect.

I prefer first person.

I don't want to watch my back.

God already designed first person view and I am pretty happy with it. I prefer first person in games too.

Saw something similar years ago before OR came alone ( not sure of the equipment they used though) it was quite enlightening and funny. They got someone to wear a costume and just go do whatever they felt like. At first they walked about normally but before long they were jumping and acting odd just like people in games do...
