Every new ship you buy (up to 5 max) is a starting point from the opening menu

I think that a possible solution, for who want to play immediately with friends and wings (without ruin 'the immersion' with istant travels or whatever), is to have a starting menu option of 5 (max) different locations where you want to play with 5 of your different ships that you bought in game.

what do you think of this idea ?

The missions would have to be associated with the ships that accepted them or it would create an exploit and complications.
1. get missions in Robigo
2. log out and log back in at location 2 and use that ship to move closer to my missions (3 or 4 jumps instead of 20) locations and collect slaves on the way to cover missions.
3. Repeat process.

What would happen (missions/cargo) if you had 200t at location 1 and then logged in to location 2 with a Sidey?

Lot of questions.

Please explain how, not saying it couldn't be but just saying "it could be abused" is not good enough. What are the abuse cases you are worried about? Missions? Cargo? ..I for one like the idea, however would MUCH rather have the ability to have multiple commanders WITHOUT spending a fortune on the game multiple times. Heck I might even be willing to buy an extra commander slot for $5 or $10 but not for $100's (across all the seasons think how much it will be)

If you want Multiple commanders. Why not buy another Elite game. I have. One 40k out of the bubble while the other in the bubble. It also help support Elite and it updates.
