Every single one of my issue tracker submissions has 'expired'. What's the point?

Yeah, don't bother with the tracker. They don't go by it anyway. They will keep cherry picking "fixes" and new features no one asked for. Because, why should a company be grateful to have 100s, maybe 1000s of customers using their own valuable time to beta test the game and report back good feedback and bugs with getting nothing in return?

My motivation to help with issues using the frontier issue tracker has hit absolute zero, and I feel I've wasted my time tediously submitting everything that I have, using my own spare time and passion for this game to try and help it heal.
Not surprised at all....

This seems to be a trend with dev issue trackers in all industries. I deal with it all the time with my company. Same thing. Too many items get on the list, they don't get addressed in time, and there is some sort of timer that says...."Hey, this is inactive....close it out".

And then they're never looked at again? Vanished into the digital ether of unjust doom? This is incredibly insulting after I put so much care, time and attention into bug checking, and a further kick in the teeth for good measure considering the unfinished product we were sold.

The way it works is 3 people have to add to an existing report (and click on "can reproduce") for it to get to the voting stage.
People can post it here in case anyone else has the same bug. A link is a quick way to us to add to it. :)

So we're all supposed to be viewing the issue tracker daily and checking each submission, trying to reproduce it in game, and then adding to each report before they each expire? And then Frontier will consider looking into it. Otherwise, each issue we post will be ignored without 3 other people doing this?

You did what you could. It's not your job to run a popularity contest, nor to triage issues for Frontier. IMO, wash your hands of them and stop worrying.

My (recent) pet bug is meta alloys no longer being purchasable at Darnielle's Progress. I reported the bug, that's already beyond what should be expected of the average player. Sucks to be a new player to engineering, but again, not my job. Frontier needs to do better.

and dont forget that one single user can only "vote" on 5 issues at the same time... ive given up with reporting anything, i just post it in the forums with pics.

WOW! DejaVu!

I thought I had wandered into a time machine and ended up in the Atari RCTWorld beta-tester site...

They ignored stuff too. Of course it was BETA-TESTING and not fixing stuff after release.
