Everyone needs to switch their perspective of ED from game to simulator.

Its realy funny how the hardcore fans desperately try to see more in ED.

Guys (and gals) face it :

This game is incomplete in many ways and frontier knows that.

Maybe it will be aswesome in 6 - 12 month, but at the moment this is an (stable) early beta : Great sounding, nice looking (not great). But repetitive, shallow, "grindy" and boring Gameplay. The reason for this could be that Frontier realy rushed the Gameplay stuff into game since Beta (well, what they called beta).

BTW : I told you in Summer 2014 that it will go this way, nearly nobody believed it. I said that we receive Ship 19 of 25 in May 2015. In September 2014 i realy thought i carry this to far, now i have to say : We are lucky if we get 20 until then.

People here are somewhat confused between a simulator and a grind-fest. A good simulator is supposed to be complex and intricate, NOT (just) time consuming. ED at this point is only the later.

If you want to call ED a simulator instead of a game, all the other grind-fest MMOs are also simulators.

I've gotta say i'm with the skeptical people here, making a machine that decodes waves into sound we can hear doesn't mean we can hear in space, they could have decoded this sound to play the keyboard as well and gone for an even better clickbait article "Can't hear in space? It plays the keyboard!".... sorry I hate clickbait so much I can't even write a decent headline :(

Back on topic - This game can't be just a sim, because it'd be terrible, I mean what does it actually simulate? So asking people not to view it as a game doesn't hold much water with me, nothing wrong with being both either!

Why are you still here again?

Checking the refunds thread in the support forum because FDEV is not just incompetent in communication and marketing but incredible bad in handling support and refund requests. Looks like I'll have to talk to a lawyer to get them moving forward.

ED is set is the year 3300, it uses many fictitious technologies and pseudo scientific elements - to convey an artistic imagining of the future Milky Way.
